Interview mit Jason

Why did you decide to do an apprenticeship at Sit SteuerungsTechnik?

I decided to do an apprenticeship at Sit because I had already done an internship in warehouse logistics and immediately liked both the team and the tasks.

What do you like most about your apprenticeship at Sit?

I particularly like the variety in the warehouse.
I was very proud when I was allowed to handle a complex goods receipt completely on my own for the first time.

How would you describe the working environment at Sit?

The working environment is very friendly and relaxed.
My colleagues and trainers are always willing to listen when I have questions or need help.

What distinguishes your training at Sit from what you hear or see at other companies?

The warehouse isn't huge, which makes it easy to keep track of everything.
We work with computers and scanners, which makes processes faster and clearer.
I'm given responsibility early on and am really involved in the processes instead of just watching.

What opportunities do you have at Sit to develop yourself further and learn new things?

After the training, you can develop yourself further to become a master craftsman or get a forklift license, for example.
Every day, I learn new processes in control technology.
I am particularly motivated by the fact that I get to work in different areas of the warehouse, which gives me a complete overview.

Was there a moment when you realized that Sit was the right place for you to do your apprenticeship?

Yes – because the warehouse isn't that big, you get to know everyone.
You immediately feel like part of the team and not alone.

How would you explain to a friend why doing an apprenticeship at Sit would be a good decision?

Everyone at Sit is very friendly and you get really good training, which also makes work fun.

What special advantages or benefits do you enjoy at Sit?

I particularly appreciate the flexible working hours and the fact that we can take breaks together as a team.
