Interview mit Tim
“My work is genuinely appreciated – I take on responsibility and receive tangible positive feedback.”
Why did you decide to do an apprenticeship at Sit Steuerungstechnik?
I decided to do an apprenticeship at Sit Steuerungstechnik after completing a one-week internship there. During that time, I quickly realized that I felt very comfortable and appreciated there because of the great atmosphere, especially within the team. The workplace not only offers a pleasant atmosphere, but also a lot of fun at work, which really appealed to me.
What do you like most about your apprenticeship at Sit?
What I particularly like are the flexible working hours, which allow me to balance my work and private life well. A particularly great moment was when I was allowed to actively participate in setting up the infrastructure at our remote location. It was incredibly exciting to see how everything came together step by step and finally worked. That moment made me especially proud.
How would you describe the working environment at Sit?
The working environment at Sit is really great. I feel very comfortable and enjoy coming to work every day. My colleagues and my trainer are really friendly and easygoing. Everyone helps each other and I was made to feel very welcome right from the start. You can tell that teamwork is important here, and that makes work really enjoyable.
How does your training at Sit differ from what you hear or see at other companies?
What sets my training apart from what I hear about other companies is that the work you do is really appreciated. I often receive positive feedback and feel like an important part of the team. I also feel that all trainees are taken seriously here and given the opportunity to take on responsibility. There is always someone you can turn to if you have questions or problems. As far as I know and have heard, that's not the case everywhere. The varied tasks also ensure that the work never gets boring.
What opportunities do you have at Sit to develop yourself and learn new things?
I am constantly learning new things because I am always involved in exciting projects. This keeps my work varied and gives me the chance to gain a lot of practical experience. There is also the opportunity to attend various training courses that support my development. I think it's particularly cool that I can even help choose the training courses, depending on what I want to learn more about.
Was there a moment when you realized that Sit was the right place for you to do your training?
One situation that had a particular impact on me was when I was allowed to take on a larger project and received a lot of positive feedback from my colleagues and my trainer. This recognition showed me that my work is appreciated and that I can make a real contribution to the team. I also like how open and supportive the team is. The feeling that I can always count on help and contribute ideas confirmed to me that I am in exactly the right place here.
How would you explain to a friend why training at Sit is a good decision?
The working environment is really great, and everyone is super friendly and supportive. You just enjoy going to work, feel comfortable, and are welcomed by your colleagues. There are also really good opportunities for further development here. We can work on exciting projects and further our education through various training courses.
What special advantages or benefits do you enjoy at Sit?
I think the flexible working hours at Sit are really great. The Sit get-together is also fantastic, where we can enjoy ourselves during breaks playing table soccer, table tennis, or darts. The free coffee is also a nice bonus, of course. There is also the option of leaving early on Fridays if you have accumulated enough hours. These are really cool perks that make working here even more enjoyable!
