TOP The Onion Group in Kapelle, Netherlands, has been using modern warehouse technology since 2024. Sit supported the company with the complete construction of the new warehouse and its expansion in the summer of 2025.

The fully automated system combines a mechanical framework with integrated lifts and shuttles. These move pallets in the warehouse racking and handle transport between production and storage. The entire facility is controlled reliably and precisely by an intelligent Warehouse Control System (WCS).

Sit developed and implemented the entire control and interface technology. This allows the conveyor technology, shuttles, and WCS to communicate without friction points.
